Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

We are looking for a mixed-methods Senior Researcher to join the Games research team within Netflix.  This person will focus on guiding the content and product strategy for our nascent Kids Games vertical.  At its core, this role will design and execute foundational research (qualitative and quantitative) at the intersection of Games + Kids entertainment, surfacing consumer insights to inform various aspects of game development, product UX, market positioning, and more. This role may also have the opportunity to deliver kids insights across other areas of the business, such as our general kids product experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Explore Kids gaming worldwide, uncovering opportunities for Netflix to innovate and differentiate within the category.
  • Apply your research expertise to better understand the needs of young players and their parents/guardians.
  • Provide insights support for both Games Studio (content strategy, IP analysis & integration, transmedia) and Games Product needs (product UX research, information architecture, trust and safety, etc.)
  • Partner closely with Games senior leadership and pertinent partner teams (Games Studio (content), Games Finance & Strategy, Product Design, Product Management, Data Science and Engineering, etc.)
  • Drive results into impact, synthesizing and communicating insights throughout the organization (including executive leadership) with clear, compelling deliverables.
  • Bring vision to a developing and rapidly evolving space, identifying the root question(s) to solve for and how to unearth insights that will inform key business decisions.
