User Experience Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Define and drive UX strategy
• Manage UX team capacity, prioritizing projects to align with critical initiatives
• Guide and mentor UX team on best practices and emerging trends
• Monitor and share the impact of UX efforts on the member experience
• Build and streamline UX research processes
• Plan and conduct design sprints and workshops in collaboration with Consumer Experience and Digital Design teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class user experience

Job Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

• 7 years - Experience in strategic planning for digital experiences with demonstrated skills in relationship building, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• 5 years – Experience in digital design research, usability, and accessibility
• 5 years - Leadership experience managing multiple, cross-functional teams
• 1 year - Experience driving complex projects from start to finish, working effectively with teams from a wide variety of backgrounds, and be able to influence, without direct authority, teammates, and stakeholders with a wide variety of backgrounds.
• 1 year - Experience in project management, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methods.

Skills\Certifications

• Ability to quickly take complex technical subjects and distill them into user-friendly presentations and digital communications
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles, and accountability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
