Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Gain and demonstrate a working knowledge of Fixed Life Insurance products to support accurate processing of routine to moderately complex financial transactions.
  • Process transactions and update administrative systems in accordance with department standards for accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
  • Review and interpret service requests and gather necessary information using workflow and imaging tools.
  • Respond to inquiries and route sensitive or complex issues to senior specialists or leadership as appropriate.
  • Monitor and follow up on open items to ensure resolution within established timelines.
  • Escalate service or processing issues when necessary, providing clear documentation of findings.
  • Support departmental service goals and contribute to meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Complete all required training on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate with team members and partner with internal business units to ensure efficient case resolution.

Required Skills

  • Ability to learn and understand product information and processing rules.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple systems and using workflow/imaging tools.
  • Demonstrates accountability and professionalism in work output.
  • Works effectively in a team environment while being able to complete independent tasks.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of operational or administrative experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Familiarity with life insurance products is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Education / Licenses / Professional Designations

  • High school diploma required.
  • Some college coursework or degree preferred.

Base Salary Range - $50,000 - $58,000
