The Sanctions Lead will lead initiatives, in collaboration with the TLV Director of Compliance Operations, to handle the daily tasks to support our sanctions requirements
Lead and manage an offshore team of sanctions analysts responsible for reviewing and escalating sanctions-related matters.
Provide hands-on support. Including, but not limited to, escalations from other lines of business regarding sanctions. Q&A and monitor team performance, relevant system rules and features
Take ownership of sanctions QA processes, including hands-on review of alert quality and resolution of both internal escalations and end-user issues related to sanctions decisions
Ensure adherence to OFAC and other relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
Maintain accountability for the overall health and performance of the sanctions operations function, ensuring workflows are effective, timely, and compliant with internal and regulatory expectations
Maintain internal procedures and workflows to drive consistency and efficiency.
Provide subject matter expertise on sanctions issues and deliver training to team members and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Business teams on sanctions related matters.
Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Analytics and Engineering for refinements and enhancements to the sanctions screening products and workflows.
Stay current on changes to global sanctions regulations and evaluate their impact on the firm’s operations.
Prepare and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and high-risk case summaries to senior stakeholders.
Support internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and assurance reviews.
Foster a culture of compliance, integrity, and continuous improvement within the sanctions team.
