- The Sanctions Lead will lead initiatives, in collaboration with the TLV Director of Compliance Operations, to handle the daily tasks to support our sanctions requirements
- Lead and manage an offshore team of sanctions analysts responsible for reviewing and escalating sanctions-related matters.
- Provide hands-on support. Including, but not limited to, escalations from other lines of business regarding sanctions. Q&A and monitor team performance, relevant system rules and features
- Take ownership of sanctions QA processes, including hands-on review of alert quality and resolution of both internal escalations and end-user issues related to sanctions decisions
- Ensure adherence to OFAC and other relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accountability for the overall health and performance of the sanctions operations function, ensuring workflows are effective, timely, and compliant with internal and regulatory expectations
- Maintain internal procedures and workflows to drive consistency and efficiency.
- Provide subject matter expertise on sanctions issues and deliver training to team members and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Business teams on sanctions related matters.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Analytics and Engineering for refinements and enhancements to the sanctions screening products and workflows.
- Stay current on changes to global sanctions regulations and evaluate their impact on the firm’s operations.
- Prepare and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and high-risk case summaries to senior stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and assurance reviews.
- Foster a culture of compliance, integrity, and continuous improvement within the sanctions team.
